Our Weekend

We had a pretty busy weekend! Adam qualified for the CEO Club for work, which means that he hired 25 people last month. There were only a handful of people who did that...I was very proud of him. So on Friday night, I dropped the girls off at my parents' house and drove to the World Financial Group headquarters in Duluth to go with him. He was recognized on stage with the other people who had accomplished that goal. We also had the opportunity to hear from four amazing people who have had a tremendous amount of success in the business and learned a lot! I am thankful that my parents were willing to keep the girls and that I was able to go with him.

Johnson High School - Class of 1998

We also went to Adam's 10 year High School reunion on Saturday night. It was at a restaurant in Buford on the square. On the invitation it said, "All family invited" so I assumed that meant to bring your kids also...so we did. And no one else brought their kids. I guess "All family invited" meant spouses invited. Oh well, the kids seemed to enjoy it, although they got a little restless at times, but did pretty good overall. Adam knew pretty much everyone and everyone knew him...he was quite popular in high school, he played football, wrestled, played soccer, ran track, and threw discus, he was also Mr. Johnson his Senior year (what didn't he do?). But he was very athletic and just nice to everyone. Adam said it was a surreal experience for him...hanging out with people that he hasn't hung out with in 10 years. Everyone said that Adam looked exactly the same! What do you think? He did a lot of networking, got a lot of numbers and business cards and I think he enjoyed seeing everyone again. Here's a little slide show of Adam's high school experience.
