Tampa in January

At the end of January, we decided to go on a last minute trip. Adam was planning on going for business, but the kids and I decided to tag along. The Garfields went also. While Adam was in meetings, we spent most of the time at the pool. The girls loved playing with their friends, Jacquie and Brooke. The hotel we stayed at was not on the beach, it was about a 20 min drive. The day we decided to go, turned out to be the yuckiest day! But the kids got to play in the sand for awhile and enjoyed the beach, anyway! Here are a few pics and one funny video!

They were excited to get there and were ready to go to the pool the first day, since they had a perfect view of it from our room.

OK, so this guy comes to the pool by himself and starts serenading us....we left shortly after the video was taken. It made me a little nervous, because there just wasn't something right about him, but a little humorous, nonetheless... (that is Jared Jr. laughing in the background...and please excuse the shaky filmography!)

One thing, the kids and I did go to for Adam, was the Awards Ceremony.

Adam and Will dressed up at the awards ceremony

The girls, posing w/ Daddy and his award, but as you can see by Emma's face, and Ellie drinking water, they are not too entertained by the awards ceremony. They wanted to go back to the hotel and watch cartoons. So we snapped a pic and went back to the room!

Now, here are a few pictures at the beach, you can tell, it's not too sunny.....

It was so windy! But they were excited to see the ocean, anyways. Ellie kept asking, "are there crabs at this beach?" I don't know what made her so afraid and worried about crabs. But, I promise she asked that about 20 times before we got there... and there were no crabs, but there were a lot of dead fish(not just 1 or 2...a lot), which was really gross and makes you wonder about how much toxic waste is in the ocean...

Digging in the sand
Ellie didn't like the wet sand sticking to her hands...

Enough cold, windy beach day for me! Can't wait for spring break to go to the beach, when it will be great weather for the beach!!!

Great pics Amy! That was a creepy guy! I am glad you left shortly after that....good job keeping Emma away from him though....she is just way too curious...
