Catching Up Part 1: Our "New" House...

Here are some long overdue before and after pictures of our home. We had A LOT to fix up and still have plenty to do around here. We got the main stuff done before we moved in, continued painting after we moved in, and fixed some things here and there. We put it all on hold around the holidays and are just now picking up where we left off....
We couldn't have gotten as much done in such a short amount of time without all of the help we received! Thank you to all of you who helped us move, paint, clean, watch babies, etc... We are so grateful and blessed. I hope you enjoy seeing some of the transformations that took place in our home.

(well, semi-before, I forgot to take a pic before I started tearing that hideous wall paper down. I guess I was little bit anxious!)

Dining Room BEFORE
I have to take an After pic of the dining room (FYI this room used to be the garage. The previous owners closed it in, finished it, and installed some nice hardwood flooring). Before we moved in, we were trying to decide what to put in that room and the girls said it looked like a gym (with the hardwood floors, ceiling fans, and spotlights). That would be a great idea, but we had to put our dining room furniture somewhere! But to this day, the kids (and I) still refer to that room as "the gym". :D

I still have to post pics of the bathrooms. But those are the rooms that are yet to be completed...I am hoping to get those completed this spring.
