This school year really flew by. I'm sure I'll say that every year. But it's true. Here are some pictures from the end of Ellie's Kindergarten and Emma's 1st grade school year.
Field Day:
Emma and Ellie got to do the games together. They didn't have to stay with their class.
Emma and the girls in her class waiting for field day to begin
Ellie and her friend Rachel waiting in line
Emma racing with a ball between her knees
Ellie in mid-jump doing the classic sack race
cooling down with a snow cone
End of field day, ready to go home! Their school did Field Day ALL day. They came in for snack and lunch, but were outside the rest of the day. They thought it was awesome that they didn't have to do any math or reading and that they got to play the whole school day. They had a blast! Thank you to mom for keeping Will so I could go with the girls! It was a hot, but fun day!

It makes me a little sad that Emma will be in 2nd grade and Ellie will be in 1st next year. They are growing up so fast...I know I can't slow that down, so I need to try harder to enjoy each moment before they grow up even more. I like this quote they put in the Kindergarten slideshow:
"Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." - Dr. Seuss

Very nice! They are sweet girls and I'm proud to be their Aunt!
Love the pics!!! Good job Amer!!! I love those sweet babies!! They are precious spirits that have been entrusted to you!!!
P.S.-I agree with Dr Seuss.
Love y'all!!! So thankful I get to be a part of their lives! Thank you for that Amy!!!
Looks like a fun end-of-the-year. I don't want my girls to grow up as fast as yours have! :)
