Today our little Ellie turned six years old!
Ellie is a sweet and loving girl.
She loves to be active and has a lot of energy.
She likes to ride her scooter and be outside, although, she doesn't like to be hot. So summer is not her favorite season, I don't think...
Swimming is something that she's really good at. She and Emma took swimming lessons this summer and she was a very fast learner. She picked up the strokes quickly and is also learning how to dive.
She has a need to be close to people. She loves to snuggle and sit right next to someone.
Ellie loves positive praise and responds very well when told what a good job she has done.
She did very well in school and is reading Level 1 books fluently and can read/sound out most words in Level 2. She passed off all of her Kindergarten sight words and is working on learning the 1st grade words. She has really good fine motor skills and her handwriting is very neat when she concentrates.
Her emotions are easily seen as she doesn't seem to know how to control them...whether it be good or not so good...
She really is a good girl and loves to play with Emma and Will. She loves to laugh and makes others laugh when she does.
Ellie has been such a joy to have in our family. She brings so much love and happiness. It has been fun to see her grow up so much in the past six years and we look forward to watching and helping her learn and grow even more in the future.

She was such a little cutie! It's hard for me to remember Ellie as well when she was a tiny tot because her and Emma were so close they were like a whirl wind, even though I spent lots of time with her then!
