Here is documentation of Emma's 1st Dentist Appointment. She did well...but was a little scared because when I went for my dentist visit about a month ago, the dental hygienist said that it would be a good idea to bring Emma, so that she could see what goes on at the dentist, before her visit. So, I brought her and she was watching and as they were scraping my teeth, my gums started bleed a little and she said, "Oh No! Mommy has boo-boos in her mouth!" And from that point on, she wanted NOTHING to do with the dentist. Every time we mentioned it, she was like, "No, I don't like the dentist, I don't want red boo-boos in my mouth!" But over the course of the month, I would talk about how fun the dentist is and how you get a new toothbrush and new toothpaste and how we would go get ice cream afterwards. So she was up for it by the time it came around. Her dental hygienist was very nice and showed her all the equipment and how it worked. She even had funny names for the equipment, like the thing that suctions the water out of your mouth, his name was "Mr. Slurpy"! The dentist was a lady and was very good with children also. I was proud of Emma for being so brave! And as far as Elizabeth goes, I think we'll wait a year before she goes for a cleaning...she would have nothing to do with the dentist. When she came in the room, I think Ellie even growled at her. That's my sweet angel! lol!

We just took our girls to the dentist this past week... I would say that Hannah was the brave one. Madison cried the entire time and then we had to make her watch sponge bob just so the dentist could look in her mouth without her knowing... Oh the joys of growing up.
Cute post, Amy! I'm glad she did well. No cavities like her aunt Ali, right? Ha ha!
Yeah, I forgot to mention that part! She had no cavities! They said everything looks great!
