On June 28th, Adam and I celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary. It's amazing that it has been 5 years already! I have found out that it is very important to make time for each other. Adam and I have not had a lot of time for ourselves...about 2 or 3 months after being married, I found out I was pregnant. And then after Emma was born, when she was 5 months old, I found out I was pregnant again. Our girls have been the biggest blessing to our family and we are so thankful for them. But with little ones, you have to be creative and think of ways to make time for each other...as little ones take a lot of attention and energy!
Anyway, for our anniversary, we enjoyed a nice evening out (thank you to Mom and Dad for keeping the girls)! We went to see "Get Smart" at the Mall of Georgia...which we both really enjoyed...we haven't gone to the movies just us 2 in probably at least a year or 2! And then we went to eat at the Olive Garden, which was special because that is where we had our 1st date. It was a great anniversary!

Happy anniversary to you. I forgot that you had emma so soon. Looks like you have gotten a little break the last couple years.
Still all look the same!
5 years... WOW! Thanks for the reminder of how long it has been... haha... So many memories. It still seams like yesterday that we got engaged. It is so amazing how Heavenly Father turns certain situations (High School) into great friendships...
What a sweet tribute to a wonderful marriage and family!! Dad and I are truly thankful for your sweet little family! You have all truly blessed our lives!
We know exactly how you both feel. We celebrated our 1 yr anniversary with one month old Ali, then you came along in July of 83, then Andrea in March of 85. We would not have it any other way! Now, we are still young enough to enjoy each other and our family. We are empty nesters at age 48. You have a lot to look forward to.
We love y'all! Just hang in there and know that time flies and kids grow up and live their own lives(which is how it should be), then you still have eternity with your honey!
Enjoy every minute of your life now! Love y'all! Mom
Happy Anniversary! You still look young and happy :)
Happy 5 years...and many more to come! I know the feeling of making that time for each other...it is hard- but so important. Congratulations!
