Last week I taught VBS at Lakewood Baptist in the 2 to 3 year old classroom. Adam's cousin Kim goes to that church and asked me to help, because I am a teacher, and they couldn't find a teacher for that class. The girls had a lot of fun. Elizabeth was in my class and Emma was in a different one. Of course, when the VBS director found out I was not a Baptist and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I had to convince her that I did read/believe in the Bible and not just the Book of Mormon. She wanted to make sure that I wasn't there as a missionary to take people from their church. I assured her that I was just there to help out and I thought my children would enjoy it as well. I forget that some people have misunderstandings about the church. But it was a good experience and I am glad that I was able to have the opportunity to teach little children the stories in the Bible. Here are some pics of my girls at VBS.

Looks like the girls are having fun this summer. Too funny about bringing "thier" members to our church...
That is funny! Did you "get" anyone?!
