Baby #3 is on the way!

We are expecting our 3rd child! I am about 13 weeks along. The due date is April 7th. We waited awhile before telling everyone this time. I had a doctor's appointment a week ago and had an ultrasound done (I will post a pic soon, I can't get my scanner to work right now!). But everything looked great and the heartbeat was strong! Adam and I are very excited!

For some reason, a lot of people seemed to "know" I was pregnant. I had a few people ask me if I was pregnant and I had to tell a story, because I did not want to say anything yet b/c I had not gone to the Dr. or heard the heartbeat yet...so sorry if I "lied" to you! But hopefully you understand why. But after several people found out, they were like, "I knew you were pregnant" or "I had a feeling you were pregnant." I guess some people can just sense it.

Emma and Ellie are excited...I guess as much as they understand. They both know that "Mommy has a baby in her tummy," but I don't think they realize that a real baby will be here shortly...living in the same house with them. I know they will love the baby though. Emma is sweet b/c she will come and put her hand on my tummy and say, "Mommy, I like your baby!" And as far as Ellie goes, I think it is good that she had more time to be "the baby" because she needs a lot of attention. I was a little worried about having a big four year gap (almost) in between Ellie and the baby, but it was supposed to happen that way and I know it will be fine.

We will definitely find out the sex in about 6 weeks, but according to Ellie it is a GIRL baby. She says, "I am a girl and it will be a girl baby!" Emma changes her answer every time you ask, sometimes she wants a baby brother and sometimes she wants a baby sister.
