Mural Update

Adam finally had a chance to work on the mural this weekend. He got started on it about 7:30 or so one night, and me & the girls were helping/watching. Then, as you will see we got tired but Daddy painted on...

He is now done with Cinderella and Fairy Godmother, now he just has to finish the horses.

Here we are, all on Ellie's new big girl bed (no more toddler bed) zonked out!

I think it is great, but Adam doesn't like the faces. He says he does better at realistic paintings. He had a hard time doing the "cartoony" faces in this mural.

When the girls woke up this morning, they were very excited to see the mural almost done.
Emma said, "Oooh, it's so Magicky!"
(I think she was talking about the sparkles around Cinderella)

Now, all we need is a border to separate the blue and pink on the wall - any suggestions? Should I do a Disney Princess border or something else? I need decorating help! Emma's bedding is Disney Princess, we just put Ellie's bed together and we haven't gotten her new sheets/comforter yet, but it will go with that theme.

You know me - I like plain. I would just do a border with the same color theme. Maybe pink and blue stripes or polka dots of some kind. I guess it all depends on what's available. Good job, Adam!
