Christmas Eve & Day

Christmas Eve Pictures:

Nan-naw & Paw-Paw came by to bring the girls' their Christmas present.

Later on Christmas Eve, the girls helped us bake Santa cookies. Then, we read in Luke chapter 2 about the story of Jesus and then we read The Night Before Christmas.

They had to "test" Santa's cookies...

...and milk. I think it was OK.

Christmas Day we opened presents from Santa, had a pancake breakfast, the girls played with their toys, and then we went to Adam's Dad's house. We spent some time there, and then headed off to my family Christmas get-together. We ate a delicious lunch and then had several Christmas performances.

Pictures from Christmas Morning:

Santa brought Emma a Leapster game system and a Princess game

Elizabeth was very excited that Santa brought her a new tricycle

She also loved her ponies and Tinker Bell doll

The girls got Daddy socks and a tie. I got him a teaching stool he's been wanting for his office and framed a picture of his cousin Josh for him.

Adam got me a digital camera...I've been wanting a smaller one, so I can fit it into my purse when we go places.

Emma with her My Little Pony

Ellie taking her ponies for a ride (Emma took this picture!)

Emma got the Polly Pocket swimming pool she had asked Santa for! She was very excited!

Pictures from Adam's Dad's house:

Pictures from my side of the family Christmas get-together:

After a delicious lunch, we enjoyed several performances!

Rock Band performance

The kids annual Christmas song perfomances
Look at Chess! It was her 1st time participating.

Our family was asked to read/act out the Christmas story. We did not have enough people to play the parts in our little family, so we had a few volunteers. Bailey was the angel and Heidi Smith's girls were the sheep! Emma is being such a good shepard, petting the sheeps' heads! It was cute!

The MacPherson's always put on an entertaining show!

We had a wonderful Christmas!
