Happy 8th birthday, Emma!

Emma turned 8 on May 23rd!

Here are 8 Facts about Emma:

1. She loves bubblegum

2. She likes to play by herself

3. She is into reading "chapter books" now and likes to read them in one sitting

4. Emma could eat cheese with every meal and puts ranch dressing on a lot of different food items

5. She suddenly doesn't like chocolate

6. She is good at helping take care of Sam

7. She makes friends easily and is nice to everyone

8. She likes to give and receive gifts and especially loves if it's a surprise

Here's what we did to celebrate on her birthday.

Donuts for breakfast!

We let the kids pick one thing they want to do as a family on their bday, whether it's a movie, go out to eat, bowling, etc.. Emma chose a movie.

There were no G movies out only ONE PG movie, so we saw it..."The Pirates! Band of Misfits"

Her birthday was on a Wednesday and it happened to be Achievement Days at church, so she was very excited to go for the first time!

After church, we celebrated with ice cream from DQ (thanks to Adam's uncle Ronnie)! I'd say Emma had a fun 8th birthday!
