Emma's Baptism

Emma knew that when she turned 8, that meant her baptism was coming up.
She was ready, a little nervous, but very happy!

Her baptism was on Sunday, May 29th.

The week before her baptism, we had the missionaries over to teach a lesson about baptism. It was good for her to hear the message from someone other than her parents. :)

I'm so thankful to everyone who came and participated on her baptism day.
Nan-naw gave the talk on baptism and did an excellent job, as always.

Adam baptized her and then Mimi gave the talk on the Holy Ghost.
It was such a beautiful baptism.

While she got changed, we showed a bible video from lds.org
and had a missionary bear his testimony.

When Emma was done changing, we showed the slideshow of her that Andrea put together. Thank you, Andrea, for doing that! It was awesome.

Layne, Bailey, and Halle sang the closing song, "I Know That My Savior Loves Me".
They did such a great job!

I'm so glad that so many family members and friends were able to
be there for Emma on her special day.
